No, I haven't had the baby yet -- don't worry, there will be photos here as soon as that happens!  :-)  I'm just a super-tired litany of late-pregnancy woes right now (I'm huuuuuuge!  I have no energy for anything, especially blogging!  tying my shoes is hard!  climbing stairs is hard!  I can't breathe!  I can't sleep!  I MUST have the ENTIRE BED why do I keep finding this HUSBAND in it as if he thinks he's allowed to SLEEP HERE TOO?).  ;-)

Hello lovely people!

I feel like I have nothing scintillating to say today.  I'm trying to write as much as possible before baby arrives, but at the same time I'm constantly distracted by tiny feet poking me in the ribs and the weird rippling that keeps happening across my belly.  WEIRD WEIRD WEIRD!  Being pregnant is downright peculiar!

It's the end of the year!  In fact, it's the end of the DECADE!  How did THAT sneak up on us?  It didn't even occur to me until I started finding "Best of the Decade" lists on all my favorite websites.  My goodness!  We're starting a shiny new decade...that's pretty exciting, don't you think?

OMG, you guys, I can't even EXPRESS how sick I was this past week.  Turns out being pregnant makes all stomach tragedies infinitely worse.  WOE is ME.  I couldn't eat anything all day Tuesday, which of course made little mister baby rather disgruntled, so there was a lot of flailing and poking, which, needless to say, did not help at ALL.

Can you believe 2009 is nearly over?  And Christmas is almost here?  And I haven't even posted my list of favorite books/recommendations yet?  I know!  It's a travesty!  I'm just barely squeaking it in before Hanukkah!  So I'm sure all you organized people have bought all your presents already, but for the rest of you who are more like me :-), it's time for my last-minute awesome book suggestions!

It's November!  Once again I am taken by surprise by the arrival of a new month.  They keep sneaking up on me while I'm busy writing (or, lately, sleeping)!  But on the plus side, guess what that means?

So, my pregnancy-shaped excuse for the late blog this week is that there are several burly fellows renovating my basement at the moment, which involves LOTS OF LOUDNESS at 7AM EVERY MORNING.  And if you know me, or have ever read this blog, you may recall that I don't do mornings.  :-)  When one works until 3 or 4am most nights, the sound of drilling into the floor directly below one's head three hours later is NOT EXACTLY AWESOME.
