#6: Stop Making Brazil Angry

Happy New Year!

And equally importantly, happy birthday to Sunshine! clip_image001

Snowflakes That Stay on My Paws and My Whiskers

It’s snowing again! Big fluffy flakes of Christmas-y snow, the kind Sunshine loves to leap and bound and roll and dig and flail in, resulting in this:

Actually, Dragons Later Would Be OK, Too

Hi everyone!

Impending Christmas! Whoopee!

Unlike last week, I suddenly have a zillion things to talk about, but I’ll save some of it for later and start with my account of:

The Boston TV Party!

Ode to Logan and Spike and Amanda :)

Yay!

This week I finally get to do something to support the writers’ strike! I mean, besides posting about it incessantly on my blog. Something that involves showering and wearing pants and leaving the house and going outdoors! And possibly marching and shouting!

The Real World: Tigers

Holy smokes, is it really December already? I guess the carols and eggnog in the supermarket should have tipped me off, huh?  :)

This means...it’s time to buy Christmas presents!

AND!

Drink lots of eggnog!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tom Kha Awesome!

Hello hello!

I hope you all had a splendiferous Thanksgiving! We did -- wow, I LOVE hosting! (which I guess might not be that surprising for a bossy Leo!) Of course, it helps that we had excellent guests, who were very helpful and patient and lovely to have around. And the food turned out surprisingly well, which we achieved by doing nothing complicated and letting people bring us a trillion pies, most of which we still have.

Hi team!

I’m afraid it’s a short, photo-less blog entry tonight, BECAUSE I had to write a blog for HarperTeen’s new MySpace page, where lots of other brilliant authors have posted and will be posting!

Phuket: Animal Edition!

Hi everyone!

Before we get to more photos (elephants! whee!), here are a few more links related to the writers’ strike:

A Petition to Sign! Show your support for the writers who make the wonderful TV we love! So that they can come back and make some more of it SOON!

Phuket - Day 1

I’ve been reading about the writers’ strike today, because, as you might imagine, I am quite concerned about the prospect of no new TV in the not-too-distant future. I figured I should learn about what’s going on so I can say smart things about it when Mr. MBA here on the couch next to me starts asking all his business-y questions.

WE ARE BACK!!!!

Hellooooooo lovely people!!!!

I'm back from exotic faraway places!

Since we last spoke, I got married, rode an elephant, and saw Angkor Wat, so that's three life goals in one month, woo hoo!

And I have SO MANY PHOTOS to share with you!

Surprise! No, it's not Tui this week. She's out climbing Cambodian temples and learning how to cook Thai food with her husband (hooray!), Adam. This is Kari, her sister and special guest blogger. This is my first posting, so I'll keep it short. But when Tui gets back she'll have loads of pictures of elephants, monkeys, and maybe even a slow loris to accompany her travel tales. :) And, she might be checking her webpage remotely, so hi Tui!! Is it a little surreal being greeted on your own blog? Hee hee.

Wedding! Wedding! Wedding! Hooray!

It's the most wonderful time of the year... ;)

TV TV TV! The new fall season has begun! Hooray!

Quick! Eat all the ice cream in Boston!

Here are a few of my favorite things (in no particular order):

Mad Mad Mad Mad Men

All is forgiven!
